World of Je Revele
As the child of Ecuadorian born parents, Jessica grew up traveling between the United States and South America. She learned at an early age the subtle differences between cultures. Making friends was sometimes challenging. In one land, she was surrounded by family and friends who were very similar her. In another she was not certain of how to fit in. As a result, Jessica became shy and inhibited, less sure of herself.
Jessica graduated from Manhattan College with a degree in Economics and Global Business. Soon after, she began working in the apparel industry for Liz Claiborne in Times Square. Although she was able to apply her talents for detail and analysis, Jessica realized that the corporate world wasn’t able to give her what she most desired: to be around a variety of people. Jessica wanted to be in control of her own destiny.
Fluent in three languages, Jessica became a world traveler. She reveled in discovering the many different ways people live around the world. Her curiosity is what lead her to choosing photography as a career in the first place.
As a new bride, Jessica worked closely with her own wedding photographer. She realized she was fascinated with the art of photography. Her insatiable appetite for film and print led her to sign up for every photography workshop she could find, including her participation in an intense multiday workshop with Bambi Cantrell. Jessica became a reputable wedding photographer, with a true appreciation for candid emotion. By capturing the subtle glances and tender moments shared between her subjects, her photographs are authentic and captivating.
Working at Je Revele has given Jessica opportunities to further develop her craft. Known for her expertise in photographing boudoir sessions, Jessica is able to bring out the best in her clients’ individual attributes. “Its about celebrating a woman’s femininity, her confidence, and her achievements.” she explains. “The process is an empowering one.”
In her free time, Jessica is an avid runner. She is married, and lives in Staten Island with her favorite inspirations - her husband and two daughters.

Michelle Ernest is Je Revele’s resident in-house stylist and Natalie's trusted right hand. Her career in beauty began as a teenager working as a receptionist at a local salon. When the owner discovered how much she enjoyed makeup, she allowed her to work on clients for special occasions and eventually taught her to style hair as well.
At only 18, Michelle took on her first professional photo shoot, doing pinup hair and makeup in NYC for Lolita Girl Clothing. She followed that with two benefit fashion shows, one featuring the beauty team from America's Next Top Model. The experience ignited Michelle’s passion for the work, and encouraged her to continue spreading her wings.
At the same time, she pursued a degree in fashion from LIM College in NYC. As an intern at Fitness Magazine, she worked closely with artists and executives in the beauty department, and blogged about new products. She also interned at Michael Kors, styling products for their catalogs and assisting on photo shoots at MILK Studios. Those experiences provided great insight into the world of fashion and beauty. She gained an awareness of all the moving parts that come together to create one fantastic image, and she continued to carry that sensibility with her.
Michelle began freelancing full-time, styling for bridal work and fashion shoots as often as possible. She eventually connected with Je Revele, and after impressing the team through her work on several shoots, she was invited to become a permanent fixture. She now styles both hair and makeup for all studio sessions and event shoots, playing a key role in creating the client experience.
Michelle uses the very best products available, including MAC, Trish McEvoy, and Bobbi Brown. She also uses airbrush makeup, the revolutionary application system formerly reserved for A-list celebrity and fashion shoots, now made available through skilled artists like Michelle. It utilizes lightweight makeup custom-colored to match your skin tone. The result is incredibly flawless, water and smudge proof, high-definition coverage that lasts up to 12 hours.
While some stylists overindulge in the dramatics of hair and makeup, Michelle prefers to enhance the client’s natural beauty, so they feel like a more confident version of themselves. She believes in creating balance on the face, making sure the overall look is very soft and feminine. She also knows how to find the balance between on and off camera looks, so that the styling is visibly striking on camera, yet light and understated in person. She is a MAC Pro Member, and her hair and makeup has graced the runways of Couture Fashion Week.
Michelle believes wholeheartedly in the importance of building relationships. She spends time connecting with clients before every session, leaving them feeling relaxed and comfortable in the process. She also consults with Je Revele photographers, ensuring an understanding of the overall vision before the work begins. She currently services all Je Revele client hair and makeup for weddings, family, and intimate portrait sessions. Michelle’s passion, visual sensibility, artistic skill, and warm, charismatic personality have earned her a loyal clientele and continue to help shape the Je Revele experience.
